WOW

WOW!!! It has been so long since I have posted on my blog and Kaelin has grown and changed so much! I am going to try to play catch up and hopefully do a post that can bring everyone up to date! This is Kaelin by month mark!

8 Months old: Kaelin has grown so fast and I can't believe that she is already 8 months old! She has started to crawl,..... but only goes backwards. She hasn't figured out the forwards yet. Even though she has already started to stand up to things. I'm hoping she figures out soon how to go forward. She gets really frustrated when she wants to go forward that she actually throws a temper tantrum. It is really funny..... right now anyway. Kaelin loves to laugh, play with her toys, be outside and she thinks her dad is the funniest person ever! She loves all kinds of food, even a lemon (she doesn't even make a sour face)! She is so much fun and I love watching her as she learns new things (which happens so quickly)!!

7 Months Old: Kaelin got to go on her first hike with grandpa Black and she loved it!! She was kicking her little legs as if she were the one walking everywhere! She got to play in the dirt for the first time and thought it was the coolest thing ever! At the end of February she got to have her cousin Paisley come for a visit and it was so fun watching them play together. They always seemed to want the same toy! She likes to scoot all over on her belly... backwards... and she rolls all over to get where she wants! She loves to jump in her jumper and run in her walker! She is so much fun and keeps us entertained all the time!
6 Months Old: At her doctor appointment she weighed 15.11 pounds and was 27 1/2 inches long! She is perfectly healthy and is doing all the things she is suppose to! She gave us our first little scare and we ended up in the ER because I was so worried about her. She was running a fever of 101 for a few days and then on a Saturday night she had a fever of 103 that I couldn't get to break. It is so sad a scary to have a little one and you don't know what to do for them. She ended up having an ear infection and we learned some new tricks to get fevers to break. I definately do not like it when my little princess gets sick.
5 Months Old: As you can see from her picture, she lost all her hair. I think I almost cried everytime I looked at it. I was so sad that all her beautiful hair fell out and I thought that it was because I always had headbands on her, so for a while I stopped. She got to go on her first plane ride and she did such a fantastic job! Everyone on the plane loved her and commented to us how cute and well behaved she is! Grandma Black and I took her to California to see her Great Grandparents and to be there for Grandpa Greats 75th birthday! We had so much fun in the warm sun and Grandma and Grandpa Great did not want to let her leave. She was the main attraction at Grandpa's party and everyone wanted to steal her, so I kept a very close watch. Of course Kaelin loved all the attention! While in California Kaelin all of a sudden remembered that she could roll over both ways! (She has been able to roll over for about a month and a half, but would just forget I guess and throw a fit when she rolled to her belly, silly girl)! We also went to Vegas for Christmas and while we were there we got her ears pierced! I'm so happy we finally did that! She looks so cute!
4 Months Old: This picture was taken right after she got her shots! She is such a good baby!! At her doctor appointment this month she weighed 13 pounds! She is growing like a weed!! We found out that she is super ticklish!! It is really funny to do it to her, although I'm sure she doesn't love it! We started feeding her real food this month. She hates rice cereal, but we are going to keep trying it! She is so funny and I love her so much!!
3 Months Old: So looking at this picture I can't believe how much she has changed! I don't really remember too much of what happened at 3 months, I guess that is why I should probably update this at least monthly! All I know is that I am so happy to have this beautiful girl in my life and being a mom is the best thing in this world!
