First trip to the mountain!!

The last night we were in Blanding, Todd and Lizi were camping on the mountain and invited all of us to come up and join them for dinner!! I was super excited to take Kaelin on the mountain.....then when we got there, I got a little paranoid about the bugs, the campfire smoke and if it was too cold; so she stayed completely wrapped up in a blanket the whole time. She sure looked cute though!!
Aunt Colie held her most of the time while we were sitting up there!!

My nephew Calvin flirts with me!! He is so cute!! Apparently he doesn't let people take his picture, but he sure smiled for me!!

Loves to sleep!!

While we were in Blanding Kaelin wasn't feeling very well so I was very happy when she was sleeeping!! That was the first time I had really heard her cry. She is such a good baby and it is so sad when she doesn't feel good. She loves cuddling with grandma!!
Grandpa was really tired so Kaelin decided she would help him out and fall asleep in his arms so he could take a nap!!

We bought a swing at ALCO to try to help rock her when she wasn't feeling well......it worked like magic!! She loves swinging!!

We went to see Great Grams Black!! We love her so much!!

First Bath!!

Kaelin's cord fell off right before we went down to Blanding, so while we were there Grandma and I got to give her her first bath!! She loves the water and was constantly trying to move down so more of her body was in the water!! I was a little chicken to give her her bath, so I took pictures and let grandma do most of the work!! It was so cute watching her!

Best buddies!!!

It was so much fun to put these two girls next to eachother! I am convinced that they knew eachother before they got their physical bodies. All they wanted to do was be close to and touch eachother. And by the look of these pictures,....Kaelin wanted to eat Emri!! :) Nicole, Grandma, and I had so much fun taking pictures of them together!! Here are a few of them!!

Cousin Emri's here!!!

It is a good thing that Kaelin was born at 37 weeks, because when she was 2 weeks old we got word that it was time for her cousin Emri to be born!! So I took her down to Blanding, for her first time, so we could see Emri be born and to meet her Great Grams Black (and some other family and friends)! This is Kaelin at the hospital waiting for Emri to arrive!!

She is here!! Nicole did such a great job!! I am so proud of her and I was super impressed with how she did!! She is so pretty and skinny already!! As soon as Emri was out she asked the nurse if she could go home now. Crazy girl!!

Emri is so beautiful!! We all thought that Kaelin had tons of hair.....look at that hair on Emri's head!! It is all over her body too! Nicole asked if she gave birth to a monkey!! She was cracking us up the whole time!

Next day at the hospital, just hanging out!! She sleeps in the craziest positions!! I love my little girl!! Grandma is kinda a baby hog, but it is nice to have her around to help!!

We are all so happy that Emri is here and well!! We love her tons!!

At the hospital, Chris was so good!! You can tell how tired he was. He had to do everything because I couldn't really get out of bed. He loves his little princess so much!!

Finally home from the hospital and we got to give her her first bath!! She loves getting her hair washed!!

She isn't so sure about this bow. She kept getting mad when I was trying to take a picture of her. I love playing dress up with her, but she doesn't love it so much.

Grandpa Black came to the house for a few minutes before heading back to Blanding, she looks so tiny next to his hand. She loves all her grandparents!!

Chris and I took her to the park (we were watching my nephews and they wanted to play at the park). She is so tiny in her daddy's arms. She loves her daddy so much!! (He needs to smile)

She loves having her hands by her face, I call this the "no pictures please" pose!!

Mommy and Kaelin at the park!! It is sad that my daughter who had never seen the sun before this is already darker than me!! I hope she keeps her daddy's darker skin!!

Our little ballerina!! Grandma and Grandpa Sedillo bought this tutu for her. We had to temporarily sew it to make it smaller so she could wear it. She is so tiny that even all the newborn clothes are too big on her. She is all cheeks!!

I love this picture!! This was taken when we were on our way to Aunt Marci's birthday party!! She loves her carseat. We don't even have to have her in the car before she falls asleep. We just put her in the carseat and she falls asleep!!

I love these pictures!! She truely is daddy's favorite girl!! She loves that blanket!! Grandma Black made it for her. She always rubs her hand on it and will sleep forever when she is wrapped up in it!!

STRETCH!!!!!!

All sprawled out and sleeping!! We are so happy to have her!! She is so precious!! She makes all sorts of funny facial expressions!! It is crazy to see how she has already changed. We love her so much and are having a great time being parents!! It is the best job in the world!!

SHE'S HERE!!!!!!

After 38 hours in the hospital, ending with a c-section our beautiful little angel was born!! Kaelin Grace Sedillo was born August 13, 2011 at 9:59 pm. Weighing in at 6 pounds 6 ounces and 20 inches long! Chris and I are so happy to have her here, we can't stop staring at her!! She loves being cuddled and we definately don't mind helping her out with that.

Trying to keep busy

So I've been doing anything I can to keep myself busy and pass the time until my little girl makes her arrival. Chris bought me a sewing maching (if you know me well i'm not crafty at all) so here is my first attempt at sewing!! It looks ok from far away but don't look too close :) I am pretty proud of it and haven't really stopped making things since. I am enjoying myself with my new found hobby!! Who would have thought that I could actually do things like this?

I then decided to try a new kind of flower, so i kind of made this up by looking at one in a craft store, but I think they turned out pretty cute!! I can't wait to put them on Kaelin's head!! I made her cousin Paisley a matching pink one!!

Here is the last project for the day, a little tutu!! This was really fun to make and only took me about 30 minutes! She won't be able to wear this one until she is a little older because I made the waist too big, but I plan on making more that she can wear right away!!

I only have a week left (hopefully) before Kaelin is born so we will see what other projects I come up with this week!! I am very anxious to get her here!!
